Let's talk about the power of chiropractic care, and let's start with this simple truth your body was designed to heal, feel and function at its best. Chiropractic care is not just about neck and back pain. It is about unlocking your body's full potential. When your spine is aligned, is aligned your nervous system. It can function optimally. And because your nervous system controls everything, I mean from your immune system to your digestive system and even your sleep. Spinal health is whole body health. Check this out. Psalms 139, 14 says it like this I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made this means your body and wonderfully made. This means your body was wonderfully made and it has the ability to heal when there's no interference. And that's what chiropractic adjustments help to remove interference from your nervous system caused by spinal misalignments or what we call vertebral subluxations.

And so I want to help us understand a little bit more about why consistency is key, and here is the real transformation. Right, it is all about consistency. I know you've heard this in your life, but consistency is the key. Check this out. Success doesn't come from what you do occasionally. It comes from what you do consistently. I'm going to say that again Success doesn't come from what you do occasionally. It comes from what you do consistently. Right, this is an actual quote by an unknown source. However, it speaks volumes if we allow it to be the epitome of our life.

You wouldn't expect to go to the gym once and then walk out with a six pack of abs, right? The same goes for your spine and your nervous systems. You see, healing actually takes time and repetition. What does the actual research say about this? We are in an age of research, research, research. You do not have to take it all from Dr G's brain and opinion. Let's check out what research says. A study published in the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics found that patients who receive regular, ongoing chiropractic care had greater pain reduction and functional improvements compared to those who received short-term care. That was sporadic at its core. So, as you can tell, the key the key is the frequency and consistency of care directly correlates with better outcomes.

Now, the nervous system it does. It thrives on patterns, you guys. And so when you see, receive these regular chiropractic adjustments, you're training your body to stay in alignment, and not just temporarily, but as a new and healthier form. Some of you may have known about the 21 habit situation, where you do something for 21 days or 21 times and you have now created a brand new habit. Well, it's no wonder why chiropractic adjustments and care plans have to start at least at visit 24, because people have these layers and layers and years of no care whatsoever.

We have to break through that barrier and then get the body back to its baseline of health and wellness and then create a plan after that to get you soaring at optimal potential, right? So, consistency, it really isn't sexy, if you will, but it is undeniably effective. And so let's talk about this. We have to break this quick fix mindset. I know this is the Amazon generation, this is the get it fixed today generation. This is the. We want it now and I totally understand. However, we have to back off of this instant gratification. We know that our world loves instant gratification, but pop a pill, feel better, microwave your dinner done in a minute, that does not build health, and health does not work like that. Okay, not even creating a human being works like that. You see, don't expect to see a change If you don't make one. And let me repeat that one more time for you you can't expect to see a change if you don't make one yourself.

Chiropractic care, at its core, is a process. This is not an event. I know people want to use it like that. I'll pop in when I come in and pop my joint and help me feel better. But we are actually in the business, the profession, the excellent expertise of retraining your body, your posture and attuning your nervous system, and that all requires time and follow through. Now the easiest and cool part is all you have to do is show up for a visit. We've already put in the time, effort and energy, and even the systems, to make sure that everything works perfect for you. You just have to show up to your appointment.
